Cavity Detection, Grouting & Borehole Camera Imaging

Detecting cavities and imaging borehole walls with a downhole camera, then injecting cement grout to fill and treat the cavities.

Overview

Once cavities are located with geophysical methods, we drill into them and inject cement grout to fill the voids. Our modern drilling and grouting equipment improves ground properties and the safety and stability of structures. We also offer borehole camera imaging to inspect borehole walls and document soil and rock conditions below the ground.

Work stages

  • Geophysical detection and mapping of cavities
  • Drilling injection holes at cavity locations
  • Filling voids with cement grout
  • Verifying treatment effectiveness

Borehole camera imaging

An advanced technique for inspecting borehole walls and documenting the condition of soil and rock below the ground surface, using a specialised camera lowered into the borehole.

It helps to:

  • Identify cracks and rock joints
  • Detect voids and weak zones
  • Assess geological layers accurately
  • Support geotechnical studies and reports
